An accounting expertise is an examination of a company’s ledgers, accounts and supporting documents. Its purpose: to give the parties involved the information they need to resolve a dispute.
We work both on cases before the judicial authorities and at the direct request of individuals or companies that need an independent analysis of certain accounting transactions.
Types of expertise
- Judicial accounting expertise ordered by the judicial authorities, including as party-appointed expert, in cases under investigation, inquiry or trial
- Extrajudicial accounting expertise requested by individuals or companies, without an ongoing investigation, inquiry or court case
When an extrajudicial expertise helps
- Before a dispute, to support your position
- In disagreements between shareholders or business partners
- To check how certain transactions were recorded
